BMS Project Engineer

Company Background:

An engineering company specialising in BMS, building automation and ELV system integration, providing end-to-end engineering, installation, commissioning and maintenance services for building / data center projects.

Job Scopes:

• Manage Building Automation System (BAS/BMS) projects from design, planning and installation through testing, commissioning and handover.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, project drawings, specifications, operation manuals and submission documents.
• Coordinate with clients, main contractors, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Conduct site surveys, inspections and identify technical or construction issues for resolution.
• Monitor contractors work and ensure BAS/BMS installation meets project requirements, quality standards and relevant regulations.
• Prepare project estimates, budgets, schedules and execution plans.
• Coordinate procurement activities and ensure timely delivery of BAS/BMS equipment and components to project sites.
• Support testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and system integration activities, particularly with HVAC systems.
• Provide technical support and maintenance for completed projects during the Defect Liability Period (DLP) and Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM).
• Maintain good relationships with clients and provide professional project support throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a BCS/BMS project engineer.
• Good knowledge in M&E control principles.
• Extensive experience in design shop drawings, system configuration, DDC termination diagram.
• Able to communicate with client, contractor and consultant to obtain information on site conditions.
• Able to monitor the site progress of installation work and T&C of project phase.
• Good to have Tridium Niagara software, JC Metasys software.
