Job Purpose

Responsible for the overall sales, operations, support, management and profitability of Branch to meet the Company's objectives and goals.

The Job:

• Drive the Branch to achieve yearly growth target of the agents
• Conserve renewals and grow Branch agency force through grooming and recruitment
• Ensure the development of portfolio mix and achieving underwriting profit in alignment with Company appetite
• Conduct risks inspection and acceptance whilst exercising the Underwriting Authority Limit as assigned by the Company
• Ensure overall smooth running of branch operation and support covering customer service, policy processing, training, claims service and credit control
• Provide guidance to the Branch staff in areas of technical knowledge and career path Work with other stakeholders as required by the Company
• Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
• Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
• Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.

The Person:

• Degree in any discipline or insurance qualification eg AMII or DMII
• Minimum 10 years experiences in sales or marketing
• Good command of English language[both spoken and written]
• High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork
• Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes
