Role Purpose
The Medical Brand Activation role is responsible for translating medical and scientific strategy into impactful brand activation initiatives targeted at dermatologists and healthcare professionals. The role works closely with Medical Advisor and Research teams to ensure all activations are evidence-led, scientifically credible, and compliant, while strengthening the brand's presence and engagement within the dermatology community in Malaysia.
Medical & Research Familiarity
- Familiar with medical and research concepts, including: Basic study design (observational, in-use, perception studies) & claims substantiation and data interpretation
- Able to translate research insights into activation-ready messaging
Brand Activation Capability
- Proven experience executing medical- or science-led brand activations
- Exposure to: HCP events, webinars, and educational programs, Expert- or dermatologist-led initiatives & Dermatology Community Exposure
- Prior exposure to or experience working with the dermatology community and professional dermatology organizations in Malaysia
- Familiarity with national dermatology associations such as the Malaysian Dermatological Society (or equivalent bodies) is highly preferred
Communication & Stakeholder Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiar with scientific and medical communication, including interpretation and discussion of clinical or research-based data
- Comfortable working with: Dermatologists and healthcare professionals & Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Brand teams
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Management, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, or related field
- Combination of business/marketing and medical or scientific exposure is preferred
- 57 years of experience in medical brand activation, HCP- Focused marketing and Medical Marketing or scientific communication
- Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, derma-cosmetic, or skincare industry is preferred
