Job Summary
The Brand & Public Relations Specialist manages SANY International's brand image in the New Australia Region, handling PR, media, digital content, and corporate communications to ensure consistency with Group branding strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Brand Management
- Implement and maintain SANY brand guidelines for all marketing and communication materials.
- Ensure consistency in visual identity, messaging, and tone across all channels.
- Support brand localization initiatives while aligning with Group strategies.
2. Public & Media Relations
- Develop and execute PR plans to enhance brand exposure and reputation.
- Build and maintain relationships with media, industry associations, and stakeholders.
- Draft press releases, media statements, leadership speeches, and Q&A materials.
- Coordinate media coverage for announcements, product launches, projects, and CSR initiatives.
3. Content & Corporate Communications
- Create and manage internal and external communication content (press releases, brochures, presentations, newsletters, corporate updates).
- Support internal communications including employee announcements and campaigns.
- Coordinate translation of multilingual content (English/Malay/Chinese) for accuracy and professionalism.
4. Digital & Social Media
- Manage and update social media platforms according to brand and PR strategies.
- Monitor online media coverage, brand visibility, and public sentiment.
- Collaborate with internal teams or vendors to enhance online presence and engagement.
5. Events & CSR Support
- Support exhibitions, product launches, press conferences, customer events, and corporate events.
- Manage event branding, media invitations, and post-event publicity.
- Assist in planning and promoting CSR initiatives.
6. Internal & External Coordination
- Liaise with Group HQ on brand and PR matters to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with Sales, Service, HR, Project, and other departments to highlight business and market successes.
- Provide support for crisis communications and emergency responses.
7. Reporting & Analysis
- Track media coverage, PR activities, and brand exposure.
- Prepare regular reports on brand and PR performance for management.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, PR, Communications, Journalism, or related fields.
- 25 years in brand management, PR, or corporate communications.
- Experience in industrial equipment, construction machinery, heavy equipment, or B2B industries preferred.
- Ability to communicate & write in Chinese is preferred. Able to communicate in English and Malay.
- Solid understanding of brand management, PR, and media operations.
- Strong project management skills, able to handle multiple tasks.
- Excellent cross-functional communication and coordination.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and basic digital marketing tools.
