Job Description

Job Brief

The position works closely with business users, vendors and the Project Management Office (PMO) to define project scope, document and validate business requirements, and ensure deliverables align with project timelines. The role supports initiatives end-to-end, from requirements gathering and documentation through development, testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), while proactively identifying gaps, mitigating risks, and monitoring progress to ensure timely and successful project delivery.

Job Responsibilities

  • Initiate and facilitate requirement gathering discussions or discovery sessions with business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with business users to define scope, plan detailed approaches, and ensure alignment of project deliverables with business objectives.
  • Understand, validate, and document business needs; recommend and implement process, system, or workflow improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Translate business needs into clear, concise Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and secure approval from all relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain documentation including business requirements, process flow diagrams, user stories, and user guides/manuals.
  • Identify and address gaps between business requirements and technical solutions, working closely with development, Solution Manager/PMO/vendors/users to resolve issues.
  • Provide ongoing support during development and testing phases, including clarifications on requirements and active involvement in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Monitor progress of deliverables to ensure timely completion in line with the project plan.
  • Collaborate closely with the Project Management Office (PMO) to track milestones, escalate risks, and ensure successful delivery within defined timelines

Job Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in Business Analysis, Functional Analysis, or related roles
  • Proven experience in requirements gathering, discovery sessions, and stakeholder workshops
  • Strong ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to define scope, requirements, and project objectives
  • Experience analyzing, validating, and documenting business and functional requirements
  • Skilled in translating business needs into Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Requirements, and User Stories
  • Hands‑on experience in process mapping, workflow design, gap analysis, and process improvement initiatives
  • Ability to align business requirements with technical solutions and identify requirement gaps
  • Experience working closely with developers, solution teams, PMO, vendors, and end users
  • Strong documentation skills, including process flows, user stories, and user guides/manuals
