Job Summary
The Data Analyst supports airline decision-making by analysing commercial, operational, and customer data to improve efficiency, profitability, safety, and customer experience. The role works closely with Sales, revenue management, network planning, operations, maintenance, and commercial teams to transform data into actionable insights.
Advance Analysis of Sales and revenue of past and future Target. Provide the analysis reports to Sales team across all network stations as well as keep CEO updated on the trends. Organize meetings with all stations based on performance and equip them to prepare with strategies at least 4 months advance plan in order to optimize revenue.
Work Closely with Regulatory and Schedule planning team to enforce long term planning of aircraft rotation schedule planning, to ensure no short term changes or cancellations should take place.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze large datasets related to commercial operations, Yield, load factor
- Develop dashboards and reports for KPIs such as load factor, yield, RASK, CASK, and revenue performance
- Monitor trends, anomalies, and performance deviations across routes and fleets
Commercial & Revenue Support
- Support revenue management and pricing teams with demand analysis and forecasting
- Analyze booking patterns, fare performance, ancillaries, and customer behavior
- Assist in route profitability and network optimization studies
- Update all countries their performances and provide advance warnings on trends
- Review competitors fares that is affecting the routes and suggest push/pull strategies to Pricing, RM, Sales teams and advice marketing team where the marketing focus and spend should be to optimize revenue.
Operations & Maintenance Analytics
- Work closely with Scheduling department and review how they are optimizing aircraft rotation and assist with suggestions that may bring in more revenue
- Work closely with Regulatory department and understand what their future plans are a year ahead
Data Management
- Collect, clean, validate, and integrate data from multiple airline systems that are available
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance standards
- Document data definitions and reporting logic
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Translate business questions into analytical models and insights
- Support ad-hoc analysis and management presentations
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or related field
Experience
- 25 years of experience as a Data Analyst (airline or transportation industry preferred)
- Experience working with large operational or commercial datasets
Technical Skills
- Strong computer skills
- Proficiency in data visualization tools , MIDT, PAXis, C-view, GDS Data
- Experience with Python or R for data anal
- Advanced Excel skills
- Familiarity with airline KPIs and metrics (preferred)
- Understanding of databases and data warehousing concepts
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Airline industry experience ( commercial operations, revenue management, schedule planning)

- Knowledge of predictive analytics or machine learning
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
