Job Description

The ideal candidate is a team player who will be responsible for working with company data in various business areas. Specific responsibilities include reporting metrics, analyzing methodologies, suggesting operation improvements, and building proposal evaluations in a cross-functional environment.

Job Responsibilities:

- To analyse and identify strategic insights in collaboration with the operations, sales, and marketing teams to define key issues, evaluate opportunities, and develop actionable recommendations through a rigorous, data-driven process.

- Develop and implement regular reports on key performance metrics, including forecasting models and marketing campaign performance.

- Support the marketing, promotions, and sales teams in planning and structuring forecasts for supply and demand trends while measuring campaign and marketing effectiveness.

- Identify areas within the business that could enhance customer engagement, retention, and revenue growth to unlock sales opportunities or accelerate growth.

- Ensure that all reports and data are accurate, timely, and aligned with business objectives.

- Use data to identify slow-moving products and recommend markdowns, promotions, or other strategies to optimize product turnover.

- Assist with ad-hoc data analysis requests, including reporting and analysis to support strategic initiatives.

- Contribute to data-process documentation, ensuring that data insights and analysis methodologies are easily accessible and well-documented.

- To analyse sales trends and customer behaviour to identify opportunities for enhancing product assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies.

- Support various departments in functional and technical problem analysis related to day-to-day business operations.

Qualification:

- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Business Analytics.

- 3 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a similar role.

- Advanced Excel skills (including VBA scripting, macros, array formulas, pivot tables, power queries, multi-data source integration, data cleansing methods, and charting/dashboard creation), with extensive experience in significant data validation, reconciliation, and management.

- Strong proficiency in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization using SQL, Tableau, or Power BI tools.

- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret data and derive meaningful insights.

- Experience analysing data in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector is a plus.

- Strong communication skills to effectively present data-driven recommendations to stakeholders.
