The Business Analyst - Apprentice is a full time permanent role which will support senior Business Analysts and project teams in analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and assisting in the delivery of banking initiatives. This role is designed for individuals at the early stage of their career who are eager to learn business analysis practices within a regulated banking environment.

Responsibilities
- Assist in gathering, documenting, and validating business and functional requirements
- Support process mapping, gap analysis, and documentation of as-is and to-be processes
- Participate in stakeholder meetings, workshops, and requirement discussions
- Help prepare business requirement documents (BRD), functional specifications, and user stories
- Support system testing activities including test case preparation and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Assist in data analysis and preparation of reports or dashboards
- Work closely with IT, operations, compliance, and other banking stakeholders
- Ensure documentation aligns with bank policies, regulatory, and compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Fluent in English, Mandarin or Cantonese speaking candidates is mandatory
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business, Information Systems, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of relevant experience are encouraged to apply
- Basic understanding of banking products, services, or financial processes is an advantage
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Willingness to learn and take guidance from senior team members
- Familiarity with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of SQL or data tools is a plus
