Roles and Responsibilities:
Engage stakeholders across business units to understand business objectives, product requirements, and servicing needs, translating them into clear application and operational requirements.
Critically evaluate information from multiple sources, resolve conflicts, and decompose high-level concepts into detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
Collaborate closely with both business and technology teams to design solutions that support insurance purchase and servicing journeys, ensuring alignment with business strategy and regulatory expectations.
Prepare key BA deliverables including Business Requirements Documents (BRD), functional specifications, process flows, use cases, GUI/interface designs, and data requirements.
Serve as the bridge between insurance operations, product teams, and IT to ensure solutions are robust, practical, and aligned with business requirements.
Work with technical teams to clarify requirements, review solutions, track technical issues, and support change implementation.
Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, scenario preparation, execution, and defect management, ensuring high-quality delivery.
Monitor system enhancements post-implementation and communicate changes and impacts to business users effectively.
2.Skills /Competencies:
Skills:
Minimum 7 years of Business Analyst experience, insurance industry.
Strong understanding of life insurance products, underwriting, policy purchase journeys, and servicing processes (e.g., claims, policy changes, billing).
Experience working with Salesforce.
Strong experience in requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and stakeholder management.
Strong familiarity with online systems, customer portals, and digital servicing capabilities in insurance.
Hands-on experience in supporting UAT activities, test case preparation, and defect tracking.
Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work across business and technical teams.
Degree/Degree in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.
