Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analyticalBusiness Analyst to focus on financial reporting and performance analysis. This role is instrumental in compiling, analyzing, and interpreting financial and operational data to provide meaningful insights that support effective business decisions. The ideal candidate will have strong reporting and analytical experience, a solid grasp of financial metrics, and a keen eye for identifying trends and discrepancies.
Responsibilities
A. Financial & Performance Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on financial performance, business KPIs, and operational metrics.
- Consolidate data from various departments and systems to produce accurate and timely management reports.
- Perform variance analysis and identify key drivers affecting financial results.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles with relevant data and reports.
B. Business Analysis & Insights
- Analyse trends and performance against benchmarks and historical data.
- Provide data-driven insights to support business reviews and strategic decision-making.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and visualization tools to present financial information clearly.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather input and ensure reporting reflects current business conditions.
C. Data Accuracy & Governance
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial data used for reporting.
- Review and improve reporting processes and templates for efficiency and clarity.
- Support data validation, reconciliation, and root-cause analysis of discrepancies.
D. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Liaise with key stakeholders across departments including Finance, Sales, Operations, and Senior Management.
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations for management meetings and audits.
- Act as a reporting advisor for departments needing support in interpreting financial data.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, Economics.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a Business Analyst or similar analytical role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese is mandatory.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders and collaborate across teams.
