Hiring: Mandarin-Speaking Business Analyst - AML / Financial Crime Compliance

Job Summary

We are looking for a Mandarin-speaking Business Analyst to support technology initiatives within the financial services domain. The ideal candidate will have strong business analysis skills, experience working with business and technology teams, and preferably exposure to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) or Financial Crime Compliance systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, document, and validate business requirements.

• Conduct stakeholder workshops, current-state assessments, root cause analysis, and gap assessments.

• Support solution design discussions, system enhancements, data remediation, and transformation initiatives.

• Analyse business processes and recommend improvements to operational workflows.

• Coordinate with technical teams on system implementation, testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Assess data quality and support data analysis and remediation activities.

• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in financial services.

• Proficiency in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and documentation.

• Experience in current-state/target-state analysis, gap assessments, and solution design.

• Understanding of system implementation, testing, and transformation projects.

• Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

• Mandarin language proficiency is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AML/CFT, financial crime compliance, customer screening, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, or customer risk assessment.

• Familiarity with data remediation, data quality assessment, and target operating model design.

• Basic SQL and data querying skills.

• Understanding of ETL processes and data flows.
