The Business Analyst, Program Management supports the successful delivery of Cards Technology initiatives across Malaysia and regional markets within Group CFS. The role bridges business and technology, translating complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements while ensuring program deliverables are planned, governed, and executed in line with PMO, SDLC, and Agile standards.
Business & Functional Analysis
- Analyze and evaluate business needs to produce comprehensive business and functional requirements, solution designs, and recommendations aligned to Cards Technology strategy.
- Define business problems through indepth investigation, stakeholder interviews, and analysis of both technical and nontechnical information.
- Develop and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), and user stories in JIRA.
- Ensure requirements are clear, traceable, testable, and aligned to business objectives and technology constraints.
Stakeholder Engagement & Solution Delivery
- Engage with crossfunctional stakeholders including Business, Technology, Operations, Vendors, and Regional counterparts to gather requirements and validate proposed solutions.
- Facilitate discussions and workshops to clarify scope, manage dependencies, and resolve requirement gaps.
- Act as a key liaison between business users and delivery teams to ensure shared understanding and timely decisionmaking.
Program & Project Management Support
- Manage assigned project and program deliverables in accordance with PMO standards, governance frameworks, and delivery expectations.
- Work closely with Project Managers to support planning, scheduling, tracking, and reporting of milestones and deliverables.
- Maintain project plans, RAID logs, status reports, and dashboards to ensure transparent and timely communication to stakeholders.
- Ensure projects are executed in line with the endorsed SDLC and/or Agile methodology.
Documentation & Governance
- Prepare, review, and maintain all project and program documentation in compliance with SDLC, Agile, and audit requirements.
- Support governance reviews, gate approvals, and compliance checkpoints as required.
- Demonstrate awareness of regulatory, risk, and compliance considerations, particularly relevant to Cards and consumer banking platforms.
UAT Planning & Execution
- Plan, coordinate, and control endtoend User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
- Work with business users, testers, and technology teams to ensure test scenarios, test cases, defect management, and signoff are properly managed.
- Ensure UAT outcomes meet business expectations and are aligned with approved requirements.
Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and confidently to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated strong analytical capability, with the ability to perform structured analysis and produce clear, concise, and highquality business and reporting documentation.
- Proven planning and organizational skills, with the ability to drive and support the implementation of initiatives across multiple workstreams.
- Highly selfmotivated, able to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities within projectbased environments with minimal supervision.
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in crossfunctional and regional teams.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with handson experience using JIRA and Confluence for requirements management and documentation.
- Good understanding of the project lifecycle, with familiarity in SDLC, Agile, and/or Scrum methodologies considered an advantage.
