Role Purpose:

We are looking for driven and capable Functional Consultants / Business Analysts who bring strong analytical depth, domain understanding (HR/Payroll), and the ability to influence and drive outcomes with customers.

This role requires:

  • Ability to understand complex payroll & HCM requirements
  • Ability to translate business needs into implementable solutions
  • Strong problem-solving, consulting presence, and stakeholder handling

  • This role directly impacts global payroll transformation programs for enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Requirement Discovery & Consulting

  • Engage with client stakeholders to understand business processes across Payroll, Time & Attendance, and Core HR.
  • Lead and support for requirement-gathering workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions.
  • Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, process flows, and documentation.

2. Solutioning & Configuration

  • Configure Ramco Payroll / HCM modules based on requirement specifications.
  • Validate statutory rules, payroll cycles, earning/deduction structures, leave policies, and time
  • configurations across countries.
  • Evaluate feasibility of change requests and work with product/technical teams for solution planning.

3. Project Execution & Client Management

  • Manage client expectations, milestones, and deliverables
  • Support end-to-end implementation including configuration, testing, UAT, training, and go-live.
  • Act as liaison between business users, product teams, and technical teams.

4. Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Prepare functional test cases, UAT scenarios, and acceptance criteria.
  • Conduct solution walkthroughs, defect triage, and end-to-end validation with stakeholders.

5. Deployment & Post Go-Live Support

  • Provide hyper-care support during go-live.
  • Document learnings, best practices, and reusable assets for future projects.

6. Continuous Improvement

  • Identify process improvement opportunities during client engagements.
  • Contribute to internal product enhancements, knowledge repositories, and implementation
  • frameworks.

Required Skills & Experience

Functional & Domain

  • 2 to 8 years of experience in HRMS / HCM / Payroll implementation or consulting.
  • Strong working knowledge of payroll (statutory, cycles, compliance), HR processes, and
  • time/attendance.
  • Experience in any HRMS SAAS based mutli-country Payroll systems:

Consulting & Execution

  • Excellent requirement-gathering, documentation, and process-mapping abilities.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making ability.

Qualifications

  • MBA / Master's degree in HR, Systems, Business, or related domain.
  • Candidates with strong payroll implementation experience but non-MBA backgrounds may also apply.

Bonus / Nice-to-Have

  • Multi-country payroll experience
  • Exposure to project management methodologies (Agile / Waterfall)
  • Experience working with global clients across APAC / Middle East / Europe
