The Business Analyst, Record to Report (R2R) plays a key role in supporting financial planning, reporting, and control activities across assigned markets or business units. This position is responsible for delivering high-quality financial analysis, ensuring strong governance over financial processes, and supporting enterprise-wide budgeting and reporting cycles.

Description
- Manage and support month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting to stakeholders.
- Deliver financial planning and reporting outputs, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Ensure a strong financial control framework (FCF) and maintain a robust governance environment across assigned markets.
- Monitor and maintain balance sheet integrity, including reconciliation oversight and issue resolution.
- Support statutory reporting by coordinating with external partners to ensure accurate and timely submissions.
- Provide support for direct and indirect tax processes, including preparation of financial data for tax reporting and compliance.
- Support transfer pricing activities, ensuring accurate financial inputs for policy implementation and annual revisions.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g. Business Finance, Shared Services) to support financial processes and resolve issues.
- Deliver insightful financial analysis and commentary to support business decisions and address ad-hoc queries.
- Support cash flow and working capital initiatives, contributing to overall financial performance improvement.
- Identify opportunities for process standardisation, simplification, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Profile
- Bachelor's Degree or professional qualification in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin
- 5-7 years of experience in financial accounting, controlling, or general ledger functions.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, controls, and accounting principles.
- Experience with month-end close, balance sheet governance, and statutory reporting.
- Experience working in shared services or multinational environments is an advantage.
- Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate actionable insights.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables end‑to‑end.
