Role Purpose
The Business Analyst Transformation will support strategic change initiatives within the international Wealth & Premier Banking (IWPB) division. The role focuses on delivering business transformation, process optimization, digital enablement, and regulatory change initiatives to enhance customer experience, operational efficiency, and revenue growth. The incumbent will work closely with business stakeholders, operations, technology teams, and regional/global transformation offices to ensure successful delivery of change programs aligned with the team strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Analysis & Requirements Management
- Engage stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements (BRD, FRD, user stories).
- Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements.
- Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and feasibility studies.
- Ensure traceability of requirements through to implementation.
2. Transformation & Change Delivery
- Support end-to-end transformation initiatives across IWPB (e.g., digital onboarding, wealth platform enhancements, process automation, regulatory change).
- Facilitate workshops and working sessions with senior stakeholders.
- Contribute to target operating model (TOM) design and process re-engineering.
- Support implementation planning, UAT coordination, and business readiness activities.
3. Process Optimization & Operational Excellence
- Map and analyze current state processes (As-Is) and design future state (To-Be).
- Identify automation, simplification, and cost optimization opportunities.
- Ensure alignment with risk, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
4. Stakeholder & Governance Management
- Act as liaison between Business, Technology, Operations, Risk, and Compliance.
- Prepare materials for governance forums, steering committees, and regional reporting.
- Provide status updates, risk tracking, and issue management support.
5. Risk, Controls & Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure solutions comply with internal control standards and external regulations.
- Support regulatory-driven transformation initiatives within IWPB.
Key Requirements
Experience
- 515 years of experience as a Business Analyst within Banking or Financial Services.
- Strong exposure to transformation, digital, or regulatory change programs.
- Experience in Wealth Management, Retail Banking, or Premier Banking preferred.
- Familiarity with global/regional banking environments is advantageous.
Technical & Functional Skills
- Strong business process mapping (Visio, BPMN).
- Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Knowledge of core banking, wealth platforms, CRM systems, or digital onboarding solutions.
- Ability to prepare BRD, FRD, user stories, and process documentation.
Soft Skills
