Role DescriptionWe are looking for a part-time, on-site Business Analytics Intern based in Kuala Lumpur.
In this role, you will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to design, build, and improve data systems that support customer acquisition, relationship management, and sales performance. Your core focus will be on customer data collection, CRM workflows, reporting dashboards, and process automation, helping the team track, communicate with, and understand customers more effectively.
You will help transform manual, repetitive tasks into smarter, scalable systems using data analytics tools, automation platforms, and basic coding or app-building solutions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving real business problems with data, logic, and clean systems, particularly within a luxury or watchmaking environment.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain customer data collection systems (forms, trackers, CRM inputs)
- Design automated workflows for customer follow-ups, reporting, and internal communication
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports for sales performance, customer behavior, and campaign results
- Support sales and marketing teams by optimizing processes through automation and data analysis
- Organize and structure customer databases to improve relationship management and communication efficiency
- Contribute to market analysis and customer feedback tracking to support strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams during campaigns and events, ensuring seamless data capture and post-event reporting
Qualifications & Skills- Strong analytical mindset with experience using data analytics tools (e.g. advanced Excel, Power BI, Google Data Studio, or similar)
- Experience with automation tools or coding, such as:
- Microsoft Power Automate, Zapier, or Make
- Google Apps Script
- Basic Python, SQL, or low-code app development (e.g. Power Apps, Glide, AppSheet)
- Comfortable working with CRM systems, forms, and databases
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable improvements
- Detail-oriented, structured, and proactive in improving inefficient processes
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Interest in sales operations, marketing analytics, and the luxury or watchmaking industry is a strong plus
Bonus (Nice to Have)- Experience building internal tools, dashboards, or mini-apps
- Familiarity with customer journey mapping or CRM logic
- Curiosity about how data can improve customer experience and sales performance
