The Role

DFI Retail Group is seeking a Business Architect, reports to Senior Business Architect, with experience in shaping, designing, and optimizing business capability models across the organization, value streams, and target operating models that bridge business strategy and technology implementation; and ability to realign the synergy between business, information system and technology domains within DFI Retail Group.

  • Define, model, rationalize, and maintain business architecture within the enterprise architecture repository, aligning with both current and future needs in omni-channel retail operations.
  • Lead architectural design, implement, and continually optimize Core and Extended Retail ERP solutions, with a focus on integration efficiency, controlled customizations, and scalability for future growth.
  • Partner with manager to develop business architecture artifacts to inform investment decisions, technology roadmaps, and portfolio planning.
  • Design and validate integration architectures between Oracle Retail and related systems (e.g., WMS, POS, eCommerce) to streamline data flows and improve system performance.
  • Contribute to and review the Architecture & Integration Blueprint, endorsing business architecture and data design for retail operations.
  • Analyze and produce architecture models and viewpoints across business, information system, and technology domains to address evolving business requirements.
  • Partner with solution architects, data architects and business analysts to ensure end-to-end capability and information flows for integrated, data-driven retail environments.
  • Participate in enterprise architecture development and governance processes, while providing architectural guidance and promoting best practices to project implementation teams.
  • Maintain a culture of continuous improvement, using architectural thinking to drive operational excellence, transformation, and innovation.

About You

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in business analyst, product owner, IT related fields and domains, ideally in the retail or consumer sectors.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business capability and process modeling.
  • Experience in developing enterprise architecture or solutions for retail business.
  • Experience in conducting enterprise-level assessments, developing technology roadmaps, and driving programs with measurable outcomes.
  • Certified in TOGAF or equivalent is preferred.
  • Proficient in major cloud technologies and services (AWS, Azure, GCP) is preferred.
  • Proficient in integration technologies is preferred.
  • Sound understanding of cybersecurity, cloud and microservices architectures is preferred.
  • Effective communication skills, and to be able to present technical concepts concisely.
  • Able to work independently and thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
