Our client is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the full life-cycle services of
Data Center (IDC) Infrastructure. As a leading global provider of green and hyper-scale data center eco-services, the company delivers integrated end-to-end solutions—encompassing R&D, advanced precision manufacturing, EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) turnkey project delivery, and smart O&M services.With decades of industry expertise, they have established themselves as the trusted global strategic partner for top-tier cloud computing giants, internet conglomerates, and major telecommunication operators worldwide.
In order to better manage and smoothly execute our expanding projects in Malaysia, they are seeking a dedicated professional to join their growing international team. This role will focus on providing critical project administration, commercial tracking, and operational support to ensure efficient local project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Commercial & Tender Support: Assist in preparing commercial proposals, tender documents, and project quotations for large-scale data center projects.
- Contract & Billing Management: Track project contract execution, manage milestone billings, invoices, and payment follow-ups with clients and sub-contractors.
- Local Supply Chain Coordination: Assist the Commercial Manager in communicating with local Malaysian sub-contractors (civil/MEP) and suppliers, collecting and analyzing quotations.
- Client & Stakeholder Relations: Act as a key liaison to maintain smooth communication with enterprise clients, local government agencies, and utility suppliers.
- Compliance & Admin: Support equipment import clearance coordination, local engineering license documentation, and handle general office commercial administration.
- Handle ad hoc tasks assigned.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Quantity Surveying (QS), International Trade, or related disciplines.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of commercial, procurement, or project assistant experience. Experience in Data Center, Construction EPC, MEP, or ICT industries is highly preferred.
- Languages: Professional fluency in English and Mandarin (both spoken and written) is required to interface with both local Malaysian partners and Headquarters. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia is a strong plus.
- Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word). Familiarity with Malaysian commercial laws, construction contract basics, or import/export logistics is advantageous.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment.
