Key Roles/Responsibilities
Sales Controlling
- Key business partner for Sales team on channel strategies and channel performance evaluation.
- Perform return on investment appraisal on trade campaign, promotions, and trade costs.
- Lead and perform monthly review with Sales teams on channel profitability to focus on trade investment efficiency and provide recommendation/feedback from time to time.
- Analyze on trade inventory vs Sales Team forecast to ensure healthy retailers stockholding.
- Review trade return trend by channel and provide recommendation for improvement from time to time.
- Roll-out of new reports and tools for more efficient and effective business review process and performance tracking.
Marketing Controlling
- Key business partner for Marketing team on the aspects of control, monitor and analyze marketing budgets, spending, and performance.
- Develop, manage, and track marketing budgets across campaigns and brands.
- Support marketing budget and forecast planning in collaborations with marketing and finance teams.
- Ensure marketing expenditures comply with company policy and budget limits.
- Monitor invoices, accruals, and purchase orders related to marketing vendors and agencies.
- Prepare marketing financial reports and reconcile the variances vs budget/forecast and table the findings in monthly review with marketing partners.
S&OP
- Active participation in Sales & Operation Planning process.
- Prepare financial forecasts for YTG based on result of consensus meeting.
- Provide key finding from the financials to ensure smooth steering to targets.
Budgeting and Reporting
- Drive robust forecasting and budgeting processes and establish alignment with cross functional team.
- Responsible for Net Sales, trade investment, gross margin, distribution cost and product write off planning in all budget or forecast cycles.
- Preparation of regional and management reporting accurately on timely basis.
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Establish proper controls deemed necessary.
Skills/Qualifications
- Candidate must possess a Degree in Accounting or Finance or a professional accounting qualification.
- At least 6 years of experience in accounting and/or finance
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly organized, attention to details and good follow-through, delivering on deadlines
- Good team player and possess great Change and Learning agility.
- Experiences in FMCG and Retail would be added advantage.
