We are hiring a Business Development Executive with a strong sales mindset – someone who can take ownership of our pipeline, convert opportunities into meetings, and drive real commercial outcomes for the firm. You will work directly with our lawyers to turn conversations into clients.
This is a results role. Visibility, events, and content matter only insofar as they produce meetings and mandates. If you are energised by closing, by moving a lead from contact to client, and by operating at the intersection of law and commerce, this is the right environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead Conversion & Sales Execution
- Take ownership of post-event and inbound leads and drive them toward conversion
- Execute follow-ups via calls and email with urgency and precision
- Secure meetings between prospective clients and our lawyers
- Track, manage, and push forward the firm's business development pipeline
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell legal services across practice areas
Events
- Execute firm events – talks, seminars, networking sessions – with a clear commercial objective
- Ensure proper data capture, attendee tracking, and segmentation
- Turn event participation into qualified leads and meetings
- Be present on the ground
Business Development & Market Positioning
- Support preparation of proposals, pitches, and client materials
- Assist in strengthening the firm's market presence and visibility
- Maintain and improve client touchpoints across communication channels
Marketing & Social Media Execution
- Format and coordinate newsletters, legal updates, and publications
- Source and manage branding materials and corporate merchandise
- Work with vendors to deliver high-quality marketing outputs
- Manage and execute the firm's social media presence
- Convert online engagement into real-world meetings and opportunities
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 2–5 years of experience in sales, business development, or client-facing roles
- Experience managing or supporting digital marketing efforts
- Proven ability to drive follow-ups and secure meetings
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple leads and channels simultaneously
- Commercially aware – understands that visibility must convert into revenue
- Background in law (law degree or work experience in a law firm) is a plus
