Role Overview

As Xaltius continues its expansion in Malaysia, we are seeking a high-energy, results-oriented Business Development Executive (BDE) to drive our B2B growth. The primary focus of this role is to establish and nurture partnerships with corporate clients, offering our suite of digital skills training (Data Science, AI, and Analytics) while leveraging the HRD Corp (Human Resource Development Corporation) framework to maximize client value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Lead Generation: Identify and engage with key decision-makers (HR Directors, L&D Managers, and C-Suite executives) across various industries in Malaysia.
  • HRD Corp Consultation: Act as a subject matter expert on HRD Corp (formerly HRDF) schemes, assisting clients in understanding the levy utilization, grant application, and claim processes for our training programs.
  • Consultative Sales: Conduct needs-analysis meetings to understand client skill gaps and propose customized Xaltius training solutions.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach and cold calling to proposal drafting, negotiation, and closing.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Represent Xaltius at networking events, industry conferences, and HR forums to build a strong brand presence in the Malaysian market.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records in the CRM and provide regular updates on sales forecasts, market trends, and competitor activity.

Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience: Minimum 13 years of experience in B2B Sales, Business Development, or Corporate Account Management, preferably within the training, education, or HR consultancy sectors.
  • HRD Corp Proficiency: Must have a strong working knowledge of HRD Corp guidelines, including the e-TRiS system, claimable training categories (e.g., SBL-Khas), and levy management.
  • Digital Literacy: A basic understanding of or interest in Data Science, AI, and Digital Transformation is essential to effectively pitch our core offerings.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Attributes: Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
