Business Development Executive (BDE)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify, approach and develop new potential B2B customers, particularly multinational manufacturers and industrial companies.
• Generate new business opportunities through customer visits, referrals, networking, exhibitions and direct prospecting.
• Understand customers packaging requirements, pain points and upcoming projects to identify suitable business opportunities.
• Work closely with R&D, engineering, costing and operations teams to prepare packaging solutions, samples, quotations and proposals.
• Follow up actively on RFQs, quotations, samples, testing and new projects to convert opportunities into sales.
• Manage and service assigned existing customers through regular engagement, customer visits and prompt follow-up on commercial and operational matters.
• Grow existing accounts by identifying new projects .
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders, including purchasing, engineering, quality and operations teams.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular updates on customer activities, new opportunities, project status, sales potential and account development.

Required

• Education: Degree or Diploma in Business, Engineering, Marketing or related field.
• Experience: 1–2 years of sales or business development experience, preferably in the packaging industry and/or B2B environment. Experience dealing with manufacturing or multinational customers will be an added advantage.
