Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Executive based in WP, Kuala Lumpur. The individual will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, generating leads, building and maintaining client relationships, and managing accounts to ensure customer satisfaction. Key duties include conducting market research, creating strategic business plans, and actively contributing to the company's overall business growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across SMEs and corporate clients
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve company sales and growth targets
  • Promote the firm's services including digital transformation, financial advisory, and fundraising support
  • Establish mutually beneficial partnerships, alliances, and collaborations with other businesses or industry stakeholders to expand the company's reach

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients by understanding their evolving needs and providing tailored solutions that exceed their expectations
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach to closing the deal, ensuring a smooth handoff to our operations team

Market & Industry Intelligence

  • Monitor market trends, competitor positioning, and industry developments
  • Identify and enter new markets, designing market entry strategies and assessing opportunities
  • Provide insights to management on new service opportunities

Fundraising Support

  • Work closely with advisory team to identify companies suitable for fundraising
  • Act as the bridge for clients seeking capital by positioning our financial advisory services

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
  • 24 years in Business Development, ideally within Professional Services, Financial or B2B Services, Banking and Fintech
  • Experience selling accounting, advisory, SaaS, or consulting services is an advantage
  • Meticulous, detail-oriented, good problem solving and analytical skills
  • Fluent in English (Mandarin or Bahasa Malaysia is a significant plus given our diverse client base)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and results-focused
