Job Description

Job Summary

The Executive Business Development is responsible for supporting the Company's strategic planning, corporate development initiatives, and business growth activities. This role focuses on preparing corporate proposals, developing and maintaining company profiles and corporate documents, coordinating grant and funding applications, and supporting management in strategic reporting and business presentations. The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening the Company's corporate positioning, funding readiness, and strategic execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Corporate Strategy & Planning

  • Support the development and implementation of the Company's strategic plans, business initiatives, and growth strategies.
  • Assist in preparing strategic reports, management papers, and performance updates for management review.
  • Conduct basic market research, competitor analysis, and industry scanning to support strategic decision-making.

2. Corporate Development & Business Support

  • Prepare and maintain corporate proposals, pitch decks, and business presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop, update, and manage the Company's profile, corporate brochures, and branding materials in coordination with relevant departments.
  • Support business development initiatives, partnerships, and corporate collaborations.

3. Grants, Funding & Incentives

  • Identify, monitor, and track available government grants, incentives, and funding opportunities.
  • Prepare, compile, and submit grant, funding, and incentive applications in accordance with regulatory and agency requirements.
  • Liaise with relevant government agencies, financial institutions, and external consultants on funding-related matters.
  • Maintain proper documentation, compliance records, and reporting for approved grants and funding programs.

4. Corporate Governance & Documentation

  • Prepare and maintain corporate documents, letters, reports, and official submissions.
  • Ensure proper filing, documentation, and record-keeping of strategic, funding, and corporate development materials.
  • Support audits, due diligence exercises, and corporate compliance requirements as required.

Requirement

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Corporate Strategy, Economics, Finance, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 13 years of experience in corporate strategy, business development, grants management, consulting, or a similar role.
  • Experience in preparing corporate proposals, business presentations, and official documentation.
  • Familiarity with government agencies, grants, incentives, and funding processes is an added advantage.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and basic document management systems.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
