Position: Business Development Executive
Reporting to: Business Development Manager (BDM)
Position Summary:
- Assist to meet business and revenue goals. Implement plans set by the management to achieve these goals and create strategies to combat potential revenue loss.
- Assist to perform research identifying new potential clients and marketing opportunities.
- Responsible for business development and growth of client base of the hospital.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the management of all corporate clients, recruitment of the corporate clients, engagement with insurance agent, attend to any issues arise from insurance cases.
- Responsible for business development and growth of corporate client base of the hospital.
- Implement strategies to achieve of all revenue target.
- Plan and manage the sales life-cycle (prospect, qualify, proposal, negotiate and close), calling on corporate clients and prospects, building relationships, generating new business, and assuring the smooth delivery of services of Columbia Asia Hospital.
- Act as coordinator with oversea clients for health tourism.
- Work hand in hand with marketing team in organizing event for the hospital.
- Establish contact with new clients to build long-term relationships and expand existing clientele.
- Update on latest development of each client's current and future requirement, develop sales strategies accordingly.
- Regular follow up with corporate clients to gain feedback on services provided by hospital.
- Work closely with Finance, Marketing and Customer Care to ensure excellent customer services are provided to clients.
- Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, new services, competitive strategies, sales gimmicks etc.
- Represent BDM to manage the public relations functions of the hospital for the public and corporate companies, as and when required.
- Manage all related expenses within given budget.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned and directed.
Education and Requirements:
- Degree in Marketing/Statistics/Economics or related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience in sales, with at least 3 years in healthcare industry.
- Have good command in both English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned and directed.
