ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for aBusiness Development Executive to grow our client base, manage relationships, and drive sales through professional product consultation and service. Additionally, this role will be responsible for driving business growth and building strong relationships with our valued clients. This full-time role is based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development & Sales
- Actively source, prospect, and engage new interior design firms, architects, and related industry partners.
- Build, develop, and maintain strong long-term relationships with interior designers and key decision-makers.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, product demonstrations, and digital solution briefings.
- Assist in proposal development, costing, and quotation preparation in collaboration with internal teams.
- Negotiate commercial terms, manage sales pipelines, and close deals to achieve assigned sales targets and KPIs.
Client Engagement & Showroom Activities
- Arrange and conduct showroom visits, product briefings, and solution walkthroughs for designers and clients.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the sales cycle and post-sales handover.
- Provide timely follow-ups, professional advice, and excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Collaboration & Market Intelligence
- Work closely with other departments to deliver integrated and effective solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with interior design trends, digital tools, competitor offerings, and market developments.
- Gather client feedback and market insights to support continuous improvement of products and services.
QUALIFICATION
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within interior design, building materials, hardware systems, or digital design solutions.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong understanding of the interior design workflow; familiarity with Blum systems or similar architectural hardware is an advantage.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable with active prospecting and cold outreach.
- Good command of English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.
- Proficient in MS Office; experience with CRM systems is a plus.
- Willing to travel within Klang Valley and work flexible hours when required
