A.JOB SUMMARY
The Insurance Executive is responsible for driving business development efforts within the corporate and government segments, focusing on insurance services. The role involves managing client and insurer communications, handling policy servicing, claims management, and preparing relevant reports for management.
B.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and pursue business opportunities in corporate and government insurance segments.
Develop and implement sales plans based on market intelligence.
Maintain and regularly update the sales pipeline and customer database, including internal clients within the Kudrat Group.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and insurance principals.
Engage with insurance principals to review existing policies and handle customer instructions for renewals.
Review and verify policies and billing documents (ensuring Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable are matched) across all insurance classes, including: Fire / Fire Consequential Loss; Contractors All Risks / Equipment All Risks; Burglary / Money / Fidelity Guarantee; Group Personal Accident (PA) / Group Term Life (GTL); Goods in Transit / Travel Insurance; Foreign Worker Insurance; Comprehensive General Liability; and Directors & Officers Insurance.
Ensure timely dispatch of policy documents and related paperwork to customers and the internal Finance Department within three (3) working days upon receipt.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AS ASSIGNED: -
Assist clients in processing insurance claims for all classes of policies.
Maintain and update monthly claims reports.
Prepare and submit relevant reports to the Reporting Manager as required.
Follow up with clients for timely payment collections.
Monitor and track outstanding payments due to insurers.
Attend training sessions organized by insurance principals to enhance product knowledge and stay updated on industry developments.
Complete the Pre-Contract Examination for Insurance Agents (PCEIA), if not already certified.
Perform any other insurance-related or administrative tasks as assigned by the Reporting Manager.

C.QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Diploma-level education with good academic results.
25 years of working experience in the insurance industry and/or marketing role.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
Strong command of both Bahasa Malaysia and English, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
