Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales
- Identify, qualify, and secure new clients in Malaysia across multiple industries.
- Actively promote Schweiger & Partners core services, including:
a. Patent drafting
b. Freedom-to-Operate (FTO) studies
c. Invention harvesting & innovation capability development
d. Trademark services
e. Robot Patent Drafting (RPD) & Artificial Intelligence Assisted Patent Drafting (AAPD) training programmes
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospects to support steady business growth.
Market Presence & Expansion
- Conduct market research on trends, competitor activities, regulatory developments, and local business behaviour.
- Recommend strategies to position Schweiger & Partners as a trusted intellectual property (IP) and innovation partner within the Malaysian ecosystem.
Client Relationship Management
- Cultivate long-term relationships with corporate clients, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), IP managers, innovation teams, and research and development (R&D) departments.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, quotations, and reports.
- Follow up on leads generated through events, partnerships, digital campaigns, and referral channels.
Marketing & Outreach
- Represent the firm at networking events, trade associations, chambers of commerce, and innovation or technology conferences.
- Work closely with the Singapore headquarters on digital marketing campaigns, webinars, and knowledge-sharing initiatives tailored to the Malaysian market.
- Manage local brand visibility, online listings, and promotional activities.
Partnership Development
- Identify and pursue collaboration opportunities with universities, incubators, accelerators, government agencies, and industry bodies.
