- Identify and reach out to prospective clients (SMEs, corporates, and partners) who could benefit from our insurance solutions
- Build and manage a pipeline of leads through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn, events, and referrals
- Qualify leads and set up meetings for senior sales team members to close
- Support the preparation of proposals, quotations, and pitch materials
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of leads and activity in our CRM
- Represent PolicyStreet at industry events, roadshows, and partner meetings when needed
- Hit monthly and quarterly targets for outreach activity and qualified meetings booked
Requirements
- 0-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a client-facing role (fresh graduates with the right drive are welcome to apply)
- Comfortable with cold outreach, ie: calls, emails, and DMs don't intimidate you
- Strong communication skills in English; Bahasa Malaysia is a plus, and Mandarin/Cantonese is a bonus for reaching a wider client base
- Organised and disciplined about following up, you don't let leads go cold
- Curious about insurance and financial services, or willing to get there fast
- Resilient; you're fine with hearing no and moving on to the next conversation
