Role OverviewWe are looking for a driven and well-connected Business Development Executive to spearhead our expansion in the music industry. This role will focus on identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and monetizing music-related content, talents, and intellectual properties.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Strategy
- Identify and develop new revenue streams within the music ecosystem (record labels, streaming platforms, live events, licensing, etc.)
- Execute strategic partnerships with artists, producers, distributors, and music platforms
- Explore opportunities for music content integration into Usanita's existing digital and media platforms
Partnership & Talent Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with artists, managers, music labels, and industry stakeholders
- Source and onboard new music talents aligned with the company's brand and direction
- Collaborate with internal teams for artist development, branding, and promotional strategies
Project & Campaign Execution
- Lead and manage music-related projects including releases, collaborations, and campaigns
- Coordinate with marketing and content teams to ensure successful rollout of music products
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables
Market Research & Insights
- Analyze music industry trends, audience behavior, and competitor activities
- Identify emerging opportunities in digital music, social media platforms, and live experiences
Revenue & Performance Management
- Develop and manage business proposals, pitch decks, and partnership agreements
- Track revenue performance, KPIs, and ROI for all music-related initiatives
Requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Music Business, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in business development, preferably in the music or entertainment industry
- Strong network within the music industry (artists, labels, producers, event organizers, etc.)
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial acumen
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for music, entertainment, and digital content trends
Nice to Have- Experience managing music releases or working with streaming platforms
- Understanding of music licensing, copyright, and royalties
- Experience in live events, concerts, or talent management
