Our client is a well-established trading company involved in import, export and domestic businesses with a diverse range of products, including automotive and non-automotive items, plastics and chemicals, machinery, metals and investment holdings. In line with their business expansion, they are looking for a Business Development (Fuel) to join their Business Innovation Department at their HQ in Kuala Lumpur.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs and trends in the fuel sector
- Lead and manage fuel-related projects, coordinate with teams and partners for seamless execution
- Liaise between departments, stakeholders, and partners, ensuring timely delivery and quality control
- Assist with energy audits and surveys, ensure compliance with sustainability and energy regulations
- Ensure compliance with Malaysia's energy regulations and international standards
- Manage licensing applications and regulatory approvals
- Stay updated with industry trends and sustainable practices
- Reporting and documentation
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Possessing Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a significant advantage
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in the fuel industry, with a proven track record in business development or project management
- Experience in managing projects and driving business growth, with a solid understanding of project lifecycle management
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate with internal teams, clients and industry stakeholders
- Good understanding of energy management, sustainability and compliance requirements
- Possess a valid driving license and willingness to travel both locally and internationally
