Business Development Intern

Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Intern role based in Bandar Baru Klang, Malaysia.
The intern will support the business development team in identifying new business opportunities, conducting market research, and assisting with client engagement activities. The role includes generating leads, supporting proposal preparation, coordinating meetings with potential clients, and assisting in outreach initiatives.
The intern will also gain exposure to consultancy services related to ESG, ISO certifications, sustainability advisory, and corporate training solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry opportunities
Assist in lead generation and outreach to prospective clients
Support preparation of presentations, and client materials
Coordinate meetings and follow-ups with clients and partners
Maintain CRM or lead tracking records
Support the business development team in expanding company services to new markets
Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Basic understanding of business development, sales, or marketing concepts
Ability to conduct market research and analyze information
Proactive attitude with willingness to learn and contribute
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
Preferred:
Students or recent graduates in Business, Marketing, International Business, or related fields
