Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team. The BDM will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth for the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and win new clients across industries for contract staffing, permanent hiring, and IT services.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline through networking, referrals, client meetings, outreach, and participation in industry events.
- Own the complete sales cycle, from lead generation to successful contract closure.
- Partner with delivery teams to develop compelling proposals, create pricing and staffing solutions aligned with each client's needs.
- Expand business with current accounts by identifying new revenue opportunities and offering upsell solutions.
- Negotiate competitive commercial terms and maintain profitable margins for all services.
- Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer feedback specific to Malaysia's staffing and IT sector.
- Ensure accurate forecasting and visibility of your sales pipeline for management reporting.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of proven sales or business development experience in staffing or IT services in Malaysia.
- Strong network with key decision makers including business owners, CEOs, CTOs, IT leaders, and senior stakeholders across mid to large organizations.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and proposal writing skills.
- Independent achiever with a record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- Good understanding of IT roles, technical skills, staffing models, and project delivery methods.
- Comfortable with CXO-level conversations and closing commercial agreements.
- Warm, confident communicator who builds trust and client rapport.
- Prefer someone who able to speak in Mandarin
- Knowledge of the local job market and SaaS product/IT Solution would be added advantage
