Role Overview
We are seeking a commercially driven and well-connected Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth for our open yard and covered storage facilities in Tanjung Langsat.
The role will focus on acquiring new clients and maximizing utilization of storage capacity, particularly within the Oil & Gas, marine, industrial, and project logistics sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Identify and secure new clients requiring open yard storage, covered warehouse storage, and logistics solutions
- Develop a strong pipeline across:
- Oil & Gas service companies
- EPC contractors
- Marine and offshore companies
- Industrial manufacturers
- Drive occupancy/utilization rates of storage facilities.
2.Client Relationship & Account Management
- Leverage existing industry network (ports, terminals, logistics players)
- Build long-term contracts with key clients
- Expand wallet share from existing customers
3. Commercial Strategy
- Develop pricing strategies for:
- Yard storage
- Warehouse storage
- Value-added logistics services
- Negotiate contracts and close deals
- Work closely with operations to ensure service delivery
4. Market Intelligence
- Track competitors in:
- Port storage
- Tank terminals
- Industrial yards
- Identify gaps and new opportunities in Johor / Singapore corridor
Key Requirements
Experience
- 5–10+ years in:
- Logistics / Port / Terminal / Storage
- Oil & Gas supply chain (preferred)
- Proven track record in sales / business development
- Experience in Johor logistics corridor is a strong advantage
