Job Description

Mills Recruitment is partnering with a leading aluminium manufacturer to identify a Business Development Manager to lead new market growth, product expansion, and strategic initiatives.

What You Will Do

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver business development targets in line with overall business objectives, budgets, and resources.
  • Develop and execute strategic short- and long-term business development plans.
  • Manage operational activities, including product costings, proposals, new orders, and customer deliverables.
  • Conduct market surveys, competitive intelligence, and industry analysis to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Lead growth initiatives in new products, new regions, and strategic areas such as M&A, joint ventures, and investments.

Who We Are Looking For

Preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Business Studies, International Business, Administration, Management, Marketing, Sales, Commerce, or equivalent.
  • Master's degree is an advantage.
  • At least 10 years of relevant working experience.
  • At least 5 years of managerial experience.
  • Broad general management exposureacross functions such as sales, finance, R&D, or technical.

  • Commercial mindset with proven business development leadership.
  • Confident in customer engagement, proposal development, and closing new business.
