Job Description

Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated and experienced BDM to join our Commercial Sales team.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving net new sales and revenue growth from prospective customer accounts across all industries and verticals within the Malaysian market.

You will join a high-energy, collaborative market growth team focused entirely on aggressive market penetration, hunting new enterprise business, and establishing Iron Mountain's solution footprint.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Pure New Business Hunting: Actively prospect, network, and execute targeted campaigns to break into net-new enterprise accounts across all industry sectors and secure net-new logos.
  • Solution Selling & Demand Creation: Assess diverse customer business models across various industries to position alternative, value-driven Iron Mountain solution offerings that address client pain points.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Influence: Build trusted relationships with C-level executives, internal matrixed teams, and channel partners to influence decision-making throughout the sales cycle.
  • Commercial Negotiation: Lead end-to-end Request for Proposal (RFP) processes, contract negotiations, pricing structures, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure optimal profitability and compliance.

What You'll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5 years or more of successful direct sales experience in a complex business-to-business environment, with a heavy emphasis on net-new client acquisition (hunting).
  • Deep expertise and a strong established network within the Malaysian Market, with a proven track record of successfully selling across a broad, cross-vertical range of industries.
  • Mastery of sales methodologies to effectively challenge customer assumptions and deliver unique insights.
  • Exceptional oral, written, and presentation communication skills, with proficiency in tracking activities via Salesforce Dot Com (SFDC).
  • A 4-year College Degree or equivalent professional experience.
