Job Summary
The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, developing and managing business opportunities with tile dealers, interior designers, architects, developers, contractors, government institutions and project consultants. The role focuses on increasing brand presence, securing project specifications, expanding market presence and driving long-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop and pursue new business opportunities with tile dealers, architects, interior designers, developers, contractors and government institutions.
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with key decision-makers to generate repeat business and project opportunities.
- Conduct product presentations, meetings and consultations to promote the company's tile and mosaic products.
- Secure product specifications and approvals for residential, commercial, hospitality and government projects.
- Follow up on project leads, quotations, tenders and sales opportunities.
- Conduct regular client visits and business development activities to strengthen customer relationships and identify new opportunities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities and upcoming projects.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and business development objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of customer activities, project opportunities and sales pipeline.
- Review and improve existing business development procedures and work processes to support departmental objectives
- Develop and maintain SOPs, guidelines and best practices related to business development activities.
- Work closely with relevant departments to support project execution and customer requirements.

Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Management or related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience in Business Development, B2B Sales, Project Sales or Key Account Management.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and business growth.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Able to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented and able to work independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Possess own transport and willing to travel when required.
- Experience in tiles, building materials or construction products is an advantage.
- Based in Kajang, Selangor
