about the job

• Spearhead entry into the Malaysian market by hunting new business in the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) industry.

• Independently manage client briefs, estimate production costs, and source local suppliers while maintaining healthy profit margins.

• As the country lead you will be required to recruit, lead, and train the local support team as operations scale.

• Act as the primary point of contact, providing a strong service experience.

• At least 5+ years of sales or project management experience specifically within the Exhibition or Events industry.

• Possess own transport and be willing to travel across the Klang Valley for site visits and client meetings.

• Strong existing network of local suppliers and contractors is highly preferred.

• A proactive hunter mentality with the ability to work independently and with ability to set up a team in the future.
