Key responsibilty:
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities while managing key accounts across assigned portfolios (territories, customer segments, major clients).
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans, including pricing and product mix, supported by strong pipeline management and accurate forecasting using CRM tools.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and provide insights to support business growth and portfolio expansion.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and tender submissions aligned with customer requirements.
- Evaluate commercial risks and opportunities, negotiate contracts, and ensure optimal revenue and profitability outcomes.
- Act as the main point of contact for customers, build long-term relationships, and drive high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Review existing contracts to maximize revenue opportunities and identify upselling or cross-selling potential.
- Collaborate with internal teams and guide junior business development staff (if applicable) to achieve sales targets and activity plans.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and performance reports, providing regular updates on pipeline, sales activities, and market insights.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in business development or technical sales within offshore/onshore equipment, oil & gas, marine, or heavy industry sectors.
- Strong track record in achieving sales targets and developing new business.
- Experience in handling tenders, contracts, and technical/commercial proposals.
- Solid understanding of industrial equipment, solutions selling, and project-based sales cycles.
