[Job Overview]
Responsible for leading the strategic, commercial, and operational management of high-value Data Center and Oil & Gas clients.
As the primary customer interface, driving, long-term partnership growth, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and aligning internal teams to meet complex technical, contractual, and operational requirements.
Develops and executes multi-year account strategies, oversees commercial negotiations, manages escalations, and identifies opportunities to expand services and solutions, safeguarding both customer satisfaction and business profitability.
1. Strategic Account Ownership
Manage multi-year account strategies aligned with client roadmaps and industry trends
Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships to expand market reach with track record in account growth, revenue expansion, and customer success delivery.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners.
Lead annual/quarterly business reviews with key stakeholders.
2. Commercial & Contract Management
Lead commercial negotiations, renewals, expansions, and pricing discussions.
Manage Master Service Agreements, SLAs, billing cycles, and change orders.
Ensure contractual obligations are met, direct or through local dealers, including capacity reservations, service KPIs, and compliance requirements.
Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders including legal, operations, engineering, and senior leadership to support on closing and negotiation.
3. Business Planning, Forecasting & Reporting
Lead opportunities for expansions, upgrades, and new offers to the clients.
Conduct market and competitor analysis to support informed decision-making.
Prepare and present monthly/quarterly reports on sales, business performance, and forecasts.
Provide management with insights and recommendations for business improvement.
Collaborate with product teams to tailor offerings for hyperscale, colocation, or O&G-specific needs.
4. Solution Development & Technical Coordination
Capture client technical requirements (capacity, power, cooling, deployment timelines, engineering specs).
Work closely with engineering, production, QA etc. to develop proposals, scopes of work, and implementation plans.
Lead in present proposals to customer decision-makers, coordinate with engineering to support on technical requirements.
This position will be required business travels to Singapore/Thailand/ JB. (around once a month)
MUST TO HAVE:
- Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Engineering, Business, Marketing or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B technical sales, key account management, or business development in manufacturing or plant industry.
- Proven ability to build and maintain high-value customer relationships
- Proficiency in Microsoft (Excel, PowerPoint), Slack, SAP, CRM tools, and data-driven reporting
- Willingness to travel regionally and manage multiple priorities under tight
timelines.
- Ability to lead meetings, presentations, and cross-departmental
coordination.
- Strong MEP (Mechanical, Electrical) domain knowledge to support technical solutions, client engagement, and project execution.
