Job Description

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead our sponsorship initiatives. This role will focus on identifying, securing, and managing brand partnership opportunities that drive revenue growth and strengthen commercial partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sponsorship sales, relationship management, and strategic business development.

You will identify prospects, pitch solutions, close deals, and manage the full sales pipeline from lead generation to contract signing. This role is ideal for someone with strong negotiation skills, resilience, and a proven ability to hit targets in fast-paced industries such as sports, entertainment, luxury, and technology.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY

Sales & Revenue Generation:

  • Develop and execute sponsorship sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify and approach potential sponsors across relevant industries.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Create compelling sponsorship proposals and presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure sponsorship agreements deliver value for both parties.
  • Collaborate with marketing, events, and event teams to activate sponsorships effectively.
  • Monitor sponsorship performance and provide regular reports to management.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sponsorship sales, business development, or partnerships.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Experience working with brands, agencies, or event organizers is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Comfortable travelling internationally for events and meetings.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on, solutions-driven approach.
  • Passion for the poker and/or iGaming
