About The Job
As a Business Development Assistant Manager / Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Partnership Management: Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with potential partners to source and negotiate joint venture (JV) opportunities, with a focus on condominiums, serviced apartments, and landed housing.
- Financial Analysis: Conducting comprehensive feasibility analyses and developing financial models to evaluate the viability of investment opportunities.
- Market Intelligence: Performing detailed research on the residential sector, including supply and demand trends, pricing fluctuations, transaction activities, competitor benchmarking, and macroeconomic data.
- Transaction Support: Assisting in deal execution by participating in negotiations, project structuring, due diligence (land and JV), documentation, and financing arrangements.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Liaising with partners and internal stakeholders to monitor business plans, P&L projections, and cash flow to ensure projects remain aligned with target returns.
skills and requirements
- Bachelor degree in real estate/ business/ or equivalent qualification
- 5 years of relevant experience in real estate, ideally with a property developer, investment firm, or financial institution.
- Strong skills in feasibility studies and market research.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to thrive in multicultural and cross-functional environments.
- A proactive learner who is open to expanding responsibilities beyond current expertise.
