Job Description
- Be advocates for the startup scene in Malaysia
- Help identify and acquire new business leads across diverse industries
- Connect team competencies with business requirements and help make sense of them to clients
- Be well-versed and prepared in pitching internal products and services to brands
- Maintain fruitful long-term relationships with existing clients
Day-to-day Duties
- Conduct constant research online and in social media to spot potential business leads and new markets the company can explore
- Communicate with potential clients to establish good rapport and arrange for meetings
- Prepare presentation decks for pitching, reports, and feedback to upper management
- Identify candidates for open positions within the company and manage the recruitment process including initial assessments and interviews
- Assist in developing sales goals for the teams and ensuring they are met
- Strengthen the internal processes to ensure a more efficient and effective operation in the company
- Maximise internal PR efforts through research and monitoring the media
Successful Candidates Shall Possess
- Strong skills in presentation, communication, and people management at all levels
- Strong skills in presentation, time management, and planning
- Proven working experience in business development or a similar role
- Relevant industry and market knowledge
