Job Summary
We are looking for a commercially driven hunter to build high-value partnerships and close strategic B2B deals across Malaysia.
This role is responsible for proactively identifying and developing new partnership channels, while expanding the value and performance of existing partner networks across insurers, brokers, travel management companies (TMCs), and wealth partners. The incumbent will drive direct B2B client acquisition and Workforce Resilience (WFR) subscriptions through targeted partnership strategies, influence sales and renewal outcomes, and manage selected strategic accounts.
Working closely with the General Manager and cross-functional teams, this role is critical in enhancing market presence, optimising partner ecosystems, and delivering sustainable, high-quality revenue growth.
Job Description
1. New Business Development & Account Retention
(Insurance, Brokers, Travel Management & Wealth Management Partnerships)
- Execute channel strategies across insurers, brokers, TMCs, and wealth partners to grow the corporate client pipeline
- Develop partner channels to:
- Accelerate the non-shared to shared lives agenda
- Generate new business through broker and partner introductions
- Drive client retention and upsell via direct WFR subscriptions
- Establish and implement Direct Billing Agreements (DBAs) with insurers
- Strengthen TMC partnerships to ensure consistent referrals and support NBAE targets
- Identify and penetrate high-value segments (HNW / UHNW / family offices) where relevant
Key KPIs:
- New business from insurance partnerships (non-shared to shared focus)
- New business via broker channels, converted into direct client relationships
- Revenue growth and account expansion across TMC, wealth, and direct channels
2. Insurance & TMC Partnership Account Management
- Act as Account Manager for strategic insurance and TMC partners
- Develop and execute account strategies for partner and/or direct corporate accounts
- Drive account performance, growth, and profitability
- Build and maintain 3-year account plans with clear annual priorities
- Align medical, operational, and billing processes with partner requirements
- Manage escalations and coordinate resolution across internal teams and partners
- Support resolution of billing, payment, and cash collection matters
What We're Looking For...
Sales & Commercial Skills
- Proven consultative / solution selling experience (e.g. SPIN or similar)
- Strong closing mindset with effective influencing and negotiation skills
- Track record in sales / business development, ideally in channel or partnership management with revenue ownership
- Proven ability to win new business and grow existing accounts
Client & Market Exposure
- Experience in B2B selling within complex or service-based industries
- Exposure to large MNC clients across multiple sectors
- Experience working with wealth management, financial institutions, or institutional clients (HNW/UHNW / family offices is a plus)
- Exposure to regional or cross-border sales environments; emerging markets experience is an advantage
Account Management & Execution
- Strong relationship building and networking skills
- Able to develop account plans, upsell clients, and build a strong pipeline
- Strong planning, organisation, and time management skills; able to manage multiple priorities
Personal Effectiveness
- Strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
- Good analytical and numerical skills
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools
- Able to work independently and as part of a team

Education & Languages
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (spoken and written)
- Mandarin is an advantage
- Additional regional language skills are a plus
