Business Development Specialist

Job Summary:

This role is critical in driving complex, high-impact partnerships that support Grab's

growth across markets. You will work closely with internal cross-functional teams and

external global partners to execute commercial deals, manage strategic initiatives, and

deliver measurable business outcomes. This is a hands-on role suited for someone who

thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly detail-oriented, and enjoys managing

projects and partnerships end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities:

Support strategic partnerships and commercial projects from negotiationthrough to execution and closure.

Drive end-to-end project management, ensuring timely delivery and alignmentwith business objectives.

Develop strong understanding of market needs and translate insights intoactionable strategies to strengthen partnerships.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (product, operations, legal,finance) to operationalize partnership initiatives.

Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships, including globalpartners.

Prepare and deliver regular, high-quality business reviews to Grab management,highlighting progress, risks, and next steps.

Support ongoing and new strategic initiatives aligned with Grab's growthpriorities

Requirements:

Minimum 3+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, businessdevelopment, global strategy, or business intelligence.

Experience working on complex, multi-faceted commercial deals, blendingbusiness, strategy, finance, and legal concepts.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple complexprojects accurately.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English and BahasaMalaysia.

Experience in Automotive or Energy sectors is an added advantage.

Project management orientation, with the ability to manage multipleworkstreams simultaneously.

Familiarity with leveraging AI tools or technologies to improve productivityand workflow efficiency.
