Job Summary:
- We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Specialist to spearhead growth initiatives and strengthen our market presence. This role is perfect for someone with experience at a generalist or managerial level who can identify opportunities, nurture client relationships, and contribute to long-term business success.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company growth objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, collaborations, and client acquisitions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, agency partners, and social platforms to expand the companys network.
- Create customised proposals and business pitches to address client needs and objectives effectively.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, creative, and production, to ensure seamless execution of client campaigns.
- Manage business development pipelines, track leads, and ensure timely follow-ups to close deals.
- Analyse and monitor business development metrics, providing insights and recommendations to improve performance.
- Negotiate and finalise contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial terms for both the company and clients.
- Mentor junior team members and provide guidance to enhance their business development skills.
Requirements:
- 25 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition, preferably within the advertising, media, or digital content industry.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities.
- Strong understanding of business growth strategies, partnership development, and revenue generation.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with a client-focused approach.
- Analytical skills to conduct market research, evaluate trends, and translate insights into actionable business strategies.
- Experience in preparing and delivering compelling business proposals and presentations to clients.
- Proven ability to manage and grow pipelines, track key performance metrics, and achieve or exceed business development targets.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and trends, particularly TikTok, is advantageous.
- Highly self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
