JOB SUMMARY
Procure all components necessary to support production or prototype builds. In conjunction, responsibilities include; accomplishing the best possible pricing, lead time agreements, resolution of quality issues, delivery and inventory levels.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Buyer
- Develop supply base & strategies aligned with customer needs
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and sourcing decisions
- Conduct supplier audits & performance reviews
- Support cost reduction and optimize material pricing
Planner
- Create demand plans & master schedules using ERP/MRP
- Monitor production plans and revenue forecasts
- Drive continuous improvement in planning metrics
Inventory Analyst
- Monitor material transactions & resolve discrepancies
- Perform cycle counts and inventory reporting
- Recommend process improvements to reduce errors
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Fresh graduate with a Degree in Business or related field
- Graduated within the last 12 months (Degree certificate or completion letter required)
- Interest in Supply Chain
- Own transport (Penang-based)
