Job Description

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Business Process Assistant Manager to lead process excellence, policy management, and governance initiatives across the organization. In this role, you will drive process standardization, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement while ensuring policies, procedures, and governance frameworks remain effective, compliant, and aligned with business objectives. You will partner with stakeholders across multiple functions to identify improvement opportunities, establish best practices, and embed a culture of operational excellence throughout the organization.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of corporate policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
  • Manage the end-to-end review and enhancement of policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Provide guidance and support to business units in developing and improving policies, procedures, and operational controls.
  • Ensure governance practices remain current, effective, and aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and consistency.
  • Drive organization-wide process standardization and best practice adoption.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across multiple business functions.
  • Challenge traditional ways of working and identify opportunities to leverage technology, automation, and AI to optimize operations.
  • Facilitate workshops, process reviews, and stakeholder discussions to gather requirements and improve business processes.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and governance metrics.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in business process management, governance, operational excellence, continuous improvement, project management, or related areas.
  • Proven experience developing and managing SOPs, policies, governance frameworks, and process documentation.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and organizational improvement programs.
  • Strong knowledge of process analysis, workflow mapping, process documentation, and business process improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, SharePoint, Visio, Canva, and process mapping tools.
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, PMP, or other structured improvement methodologies is an advantage.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication abilities.
  • Proven leadership and team development capabilities.
