Join our Core Business Services (CBS) team and you will help support the important business enablement functions that keep our organization running strong. As a CBS professional, you will work across teams to provide the knowledge, resources and tools that help EY deliver exceptional quality service to our clients, win in the marketplace and support EY's growth and profitability. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented BSC Associate / Senior Associate to join our fast-paced Core Business Support (CBS) Team in Malaysia. This role is responsible for supervising daily billing operations, issuing invoices, coordinating task allocation and providing operational and administrative support to internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate thrives in a high-volume environment, ensures accurate and timely billing despite tight turnaround times, and supports the team in delivering excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise end-to-end billing operations, including WIP review, invoice preparation, resolve billing discrepancies and issuance of invoices
  • Monitor and process high volume billing queues, deadlines, and monthly targets to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Manage billing adjustments, credit notes, and documentation in compliance with the firm policies
  • Supervise Billing Analysts, allocate tasks, and track completion
  • Liaise closely with engagement teams and internal stakeholders for billing approvals and query resolution
  • Coordinate hotel accommodation and travel arrangements for Senior Managers and Managers.
  • Provide ad-hoc administrative support and assistance with meetings, scheduling, and logistics
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and support initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
  • Update and ensuring customer billing information is correctly setup in the ERP system
  • Train and mentor staff on best practices and company procedures

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a Shared Services Centre (SSC) environment
  • 3-5 years of billing, finance operations, or related experience
  • Prior experience in a supervisory role or leading a small team is preferred
  • Experience in time & billing or ERP systems (SAP) preferred
