Job Description
Job Purpose:
- The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) plays a critical hands-on role in the successful delivery of the SAP S/4HANA transformation program for manufacturing.
- The role acts as a bridge between business users, the SAP System Integrator, and non-SAP vendors to ensure solutions are correctly configured, integrated, tested, and operationally fit for purpose.
- The BSA ensures business requirements are translated into effective SAP configuration, validated integrations with non-SAP apps, and stable end-to-end business processes across SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, MES, and other third-party applications.
Role Objectives:
- Ensure SAP S/4HANA configuration and integrations align with manufacturing business requirements
- Enable successful integration between SAP, MES, and third-party applications
- Ensure high-quality delivery through configuration, integration testing, defect resolution, and business sign-off.

- Approved and traceable business requirements and functional specifications
- Configured and business-validated SAP S/4HANA solution for manufacturing modules and integration with manufacturing applications
- Successfully executed SIT and UAT with formal business sign-off

Role Dimensions:
- Scope - SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing implementation.
Role Accountabilities:
- Collaborate with business users to elicit, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements
- Work closely with Solution Architects, Functional Consultants, Developers, and the System Integrator to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented
- Review, validate, and formally sign off the solution design, interface build, and test results for SAP manufacturing modules (SAP PP, QM, IM/WM and PM), BTP integrations with MES and other applications, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Collaborate with non‑SAP vendors to design and build SAP BTP and third‑party application integrations, including coordination of data mappings, interface logic, and sequencing.
- Engage directly with non‑SAP vendors to identify, define, and support any required application or data model changes needed to enable reliable data transfer between systems.
- Define, execute, and support end‑to‑end System Integration Testing (SIT) covering SAP S/4HANA Modules, SAP BTP, MES, and third‑party applications.
- Support business users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including defect triage, prioritization, and resolution
- Ensure end-to-end business scenarios are adequately tested and formally signed off by the business
- Support data extraction from systems and perform technical file validation to support data migration activities and Data Reporting
- Provide feedback on ERP system performance and identify optimization and improvement opportunities.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Engineering, Business, or related discipline
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst in ERP or enterprise system implementations
- Proven hands-on experience in at least two SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA implementations including SAP PP, QM, IM/WM and PM modules, preferably in manufacturing environments
- Practical experience working with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)/Integration Suite, supporting integration testing, validation, and issue resolution
- Experience supporting MES and/or other integrations in manufacturing environments
- Experience working in SI-led delivery models and managing requirements through build, test, and deployment phases
- Strong experience supporting SIT, UAT, and defect management activities
- Experience supporting data migration validation and reporting initiatives
- Experience of manufacturing business processes (Production, Quality, Inventory/Warehouse, Maintenance).
- Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience in continuous or process manufacturing industries
- Exposure to MES and/or other manufacturing applications in integrated environments.
